From 2011/12 to 2013/14 it was played with a regional phase and national final phase.

To fill the empty calendar spots left free by the reduced number of league matches, it was decided to introduce a new competition: the Super Cup.
After only one year it was decided to expand again the number of Premiership One and the Super Cup was abandoned.
In 2018/19 the new Charity Shield was launched: a super cup played by previous season winner of Premiership and Cup.
