Courage League 1989/90

Overview
Each team met every opponent only once. The best team in the table, Wasps, was proclamed national champion while, in order to expand the league, only the worst team, Bedford Blues, was relegated to National League 2.
Points were awarded as follows: 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw.

The league was sponsored by Courage Brewery.
