Overview

The first women's league tournament in the UK was formed in 1990 by WRFU (Women's Rugby Football Union) that managed women's rugby all over the UK.
In 1992 Ireland broke away from WRFU, followed a year later by Scotland. As a result, in 1994 England and Wales too formed their own union.
The new RFUW (Rugby Football Union for Women) managed a new only english league, the Women's Premiership
Unfortunately not all the results and even not all the winners are known.
